About Hope Case Foundation

Hope Case Foundation is a non governmental organization registered with the national board for non governmental organizations under the ministry of internal affairs in Uganda with registration number -S.5914/4533. Hope Case Foundation was founded in 1997 by a group of Christian Women in response to poverty , Violence against Women and Girls in the Eastern Districts of Busia , Iganga and Mayuge in Uganda. Its mission is to enhance the quality of life of the vulnerable Children, Women and other disadvantaged groups in the community through advocacy and socio-economic empowerment programs. The activities of the organization are Advocacy for the rights of Women and Children, Education support to vulnerable Children in and out of Schools, Skills development programs for the rural poor Women , Children and Men ,Gender based violence prevention in communities through awareness creation. HIV/AIDs prevention , Environmental protection, ICT, Promoting good governance , transparency and accountablity for improved public services delivery in rural communities

Job Description
The roles of these interns/Volunteers will be as below:
1.Plan , implement and monitor the projects .
2. Participate in the mobilization of resources through proposals writing and local fundraising .
3. Monitor and evaluate projects .
4. Document and write monthly, quarterly  and annual projects progress reports and present to their supervisors.
5. Participate in capacity building workshops and events organized by the Foundation.
6.Attend all meetings organized by the Foundation.
7.Establish partnerships with other organizations both local and international .
8.Participate in networking meetings with other organizations/agencies.
Position Requirements
  • College,   1 to 2 Years work experience
  • The Interns /Volunteers should have a minimum of a College diploma in Social Work and Social Administraion, Community development, rural development, project planning and management, Community education, Guidance and Counseling, ICT and Business Administration.
  • The applicants must be computer literate and also possess report writing skills
  • The intern/Vounteers applicants must be able to work under minimum supervision.
Required Language Skills:
  • English – Good
